Since I am still ban from HRRC, I can't visit the site to see activity. Has it become a bit dead like the Reef Chief forum? Only a hand full of regulars and tons of stuff for sale.
Since I have been working on the Suffolk City Corals web site, I don't come on very often. I have almost daily registrations to activate, but only log in to activate and then leave. I have tracked log-in activity through the admin. I see a lot of users log in, check a few things and leave. That is not a bad thing, just not that many saying anything. I figure they are just checking in to see whats going on and if there are any new updates, sales, pictures, DRAMA or whatever.
I will start putting weekly specials, other sales and current stock reports back up regularly asap. Once the SCC site is up and running, all the Reef Chief links will be accessable from either of them.
Suffolk City Corals will be mostly WYSIWYG (seems that WYSIWYG is the best approach)
But really, I know there are plenty of users logging in to HRRC too. What's the deal? Hopefully, because it is a local club and forum, there is a lot of usefull activity and regular club meetings. With the store being so busy, I just don't have the time to do all the fun stuff anymore. I'm thinking when the 10,000 gallon reef is under way, I could do a build thread for it. that should be cool.

I think most viewers are lurkers. Nothing wrong with that. Hobbyist want to see what is going on. Since there are only two places for the seven cities, not much to choose from. Thanks for the reply. Good to see there is some regular activity over there.

Hey Jeff, as far as I know you are no longer banned. I thought you registered over a year ago to be active again. The club has been doing great and just had a meeting yesterday. If you are interested in being active with the club, you are welcome anytime. The members of the club could use your knowledge in this hobby. Let me know if you have any problems logging in and I will take care of it.

HRRC
I have been talking with one of the BOD's at HRRC. The offer to have log in privileges is open and the thought of sponsorship is on the table. I think we both feel, as I have for years that the past is the past and we are much better than that. I am considering running a sponsorship with the club. With the growth of the store and always expanding my customer base, I will most likely do so. It sounds like there is less political agenda and more directives to enjoying the hobby. All I ever wanted for HRRC.
With the launch of Suffolk City Corals and the new site plans for the Reef Chief forum, there is great potential for furthering the success of Reef Chief. I feel a relationship with other clubs may be better the second time around. We all learn from previous experience and can continue to learn from the present. Every club has their terms and so does every store owner. I am sure there can be some even ground to walk on. I will be and have already contacted multiple clubs in the surrounding area for a huge open house. The specifics are coming together. It will be the largest reef enthusiast open house to hit the area. You will want to be a part of it, I hope.
The RC site has become something I had hoped it would not and change is in the future for it. With large project planning and limited time, I have to spread out my responsibilities carefully. I will be spending a little more time on the RC site to get things back in order. I also have SCC to run, so please be patient.
As more details are settled, you will all be the first to know.

Hey Jeff - glad to hear you guys working it out. I haven't been all that active since I got out of the hobby, but I hit the sites every once in a while. The passion's still there for me, but life is in control for the time being. I hope to one day get back into it.
I know we patched things up a long time ago and I'm glad for it. Reef Chief back on HRRC will be a great thing.

I still have a lot to offer and am open to a new playing field. I am really advancing in the hobby and in business. My wife and I make a great team. The store is ever expanding and my contacts are strong. I will play it cool and go with it. Thanks for all the support.
On another note. When I met you, back in the garage days, I was just learning how to see people. You are one of the strong willed. Take life back, right by the horns and make your own road to follow or at least smooth it out a bit. Yea, life happens to us all and a lot of it sucks and is just not fair. I have had some pretty bad shit happen since childhood. It makes us who we are. I know you have been through the fire too brother. I have faith in ya. Don't be a stranger. When the 10,000 is under way, I would like to get some input from you.

Seems to stay pretty active over there, they have about four sponsors that consistantly post sales, and the regular posters, well they are regular. Im a lurker, here, there, and everywhere. BTW a lifetime ban means, well probably life or until, you kiss the mods a$$'s, looks like its gonna be life. To bad for them
